Postage/Shipping Within Australia via Australia Post

All orders are shipped within 2 working daysof receipt of payment, and current expected delivery times are as per Australia Post's website for delivery from WA. If any delays are expected we will let you know as soon as possible. We will email you to let you know when your order has been posted. Please allow up to 10 working days for delivery, although most orders will arrive much sooner than this. We do have restricted shipping days around closure times, such as Christmas, New Year and stocktake, however your parcel will be sent as soon as is practicable after these closures.
  • Orders sent via regular parcel post cannot be tracked! If you wish to have your order sent via Trackable Post, please choose that option at checkout. We cannot track missing parcels that are not sent via Trackable or ExpressPost, and we take no responsibility for the loss of missing parcels once they are shipped via regular post without tracking.
  • Orders over $99 are eligible to receive free, trackable shipping within Australia - simply choose Regular Trackable Post at checkout.

Additional Shipping Options

If you would prefer your order to be sent via Trackable Regular Post, please choose that option as you go through the checkout. Trackable Regular Post parcels will be sent via the cheapest method for your postcode and parcel weight - either via Receipted Post (with tracking & signature) or Parcel Post Satchel (tracking only).  This option is free for orders over $99 within Australia.


Ordering

Online ordering: To place an online order, simply find the product that you like and click on the 'Buy Now' button. This will take you through to the shopping cart. If you want further details or larger images of a specific product, please click on the image of that product which will take you to a product detail page. If you wish to purchase more than one of the same colour, just change the number that appears in the shopping cart next to that item, and click on 'recalculate' to see the new total. Click on the 'continue shopping' button to go back to the page you were viewing, or click on the 'back' button of your browser. At any stage during shopping, you can click on the  'view cart' button at the top of your page to see the contents of your shopping  cart. 

When you have finished shopping, go to your shopping cart, and click on 'checkout'. You will be asked if you would like to sign up for a Green Kids account, or checkout without registering. Registering is quick and easy, and allows your information to be stored for your future orders. It also allows to you check up on past orders, create a gift registry, and view the status of your current order. After this page, you will be prompted to enter your billing and shipping details. You will then be presented with shipping options. Next you will move through to the confirmation section, where you can double check that your order and details are correct, before choosing payment and submitting your order.

Payment Instructions/Methods

Australian Orders:  We accept payment via credit card (Visa, Mastercard and American Express) through our secure payment gateway, eWay. We can also accept payment via direct deposit into our bank account.  Direct deposit information will be emailed to you after you have placed your order. Orders are shipped after payment has been received, which must be within 7 days of the order date.

International Orders:  Please contact us if you wish to place an order with shipping to an overseas address and we will email a quote and instructions for ordering.  Please note we only accept payment via Paypal for international orders.



Faults

All care is taken to ensure that each Green Kids nappy is made to the highest standards, but if you do find a defect in a nappy when you receive it, please contact us as soon as possible and we will arrange for a repair or replacement at our discretion. The faulty product will need to be returned to us for inspection, and will be replaced with an equivalent item.  We will email you a Return Merchandise Authorisation form to complete before returning any products to us.  No returns will be accepted without an RMA form. 


Warranty Information


Green Kids offer an extended warranty for 90 days from date of purchase which covers elastic, stitching or other similar issues related to faulty workmanship. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear of the nappies, fading or leaking issues. The use of bleach, vinegar, whiteners, laundry additives, fabric softeners or washing powders with enzymes on the nappies will void this warranty. Warranty only applies if care instructions have been followed. Warranty applies to the original purchaser only and for orders sent within Australia. Please ensure you keep your invoice, as you will need to present this for any warranty claims. Nappies will need to be returned to Green Kids for inspection, and we will arrange a repair or replacement at our discretion. Please contact us before sending your nappies with a description of the problem and photos if possible to: admin@greenkids.com.au.  Returned nappies must be in clean, washed and dry condition and free of foreign particles (hair, lint etc) or they will be returned to you.  We will email you a Return Merchandise Authorisation form to complete before returning any products to us. No returns will be accepted without an RMA form.

Green Kids nappies are made from premium quality materials, and although we expect that they will last for at least one child, this is not guaranteed. How long the nappies last will depend on the use and abuse of the nappies, as well as several variables such as your washing machine, washing powder and water in the area among other things.  Nappies are used and washed every two days on average, and this alone will cause wear on the products. We will not be responsible for any wear and tear issues, as this is not a defect of the product.  Delamination of PUL is extremely rare and usually caused by incorrect care of nappies, such as washing in water that is too hot, using harsh detergents, wringing nappies or drying your nappies in a dryer that is too hot.  Delaminated nappies will feel and sound "crunchy" and there will be visible separation of the PUL from the fabric.  Please turn your nappy inside out to check the PUL if you suspect a nappy has delaminated.  Delaminated nappies will still work perfectly, but you will need to take care when putting the insert into the nappy.  Please do not wear rings or jewellery when stuffing inserts into nappies, as they can scratch the pul lining, and this will void your warranty.

Exchanges/Returns

We are very happy to offer you individual advice on our products, so please contact us with any questions you may have before placing your order.  Under consumer law, retailers are only required to replace or refund items that are defective or don't do what they are supposed to do.  The onus is on the purchaser to ensure that the products they are buying are suitable for their stated use, and retailers are not obliged to replace or refund items if you simply change your mind.

However, we want you to be completely happy with any products purchased from Green Kids. If for some reason you are not completely happy with your purchase, you may return it to us in brand new, unused and unwashed condition within 14 days of purchase. We will provide you with an exchange, refund or credit, minus actual postage and handling costs and a 10% re-stocking fee, when we receive the products and confirm that they are in new, unwashed and un-damaged condition, suitable for re-sale.  Any packaging must also be in new condition, to enable re-sale of the item.  Please note we do not charge a re-stocking fee if you return a Beco baby carrier in brand new, resaleable condition, including its packaging.
 
Your credit can be used to purchase any products from the Green Kids website for up to 12 months after issue.  Please contact us first at admin@greenkids.com.au before returning goods. Credits, refunds or exchanges are not available on sale or clearance items, including seconds. We will email you a Return Merchandise Authorisation form to complete before returning any products to us. No returns will be accepted without an RMA form.

Returns policy applies to the original purchaser only for items purchased from the Green Kids website, and you will need to produce a copy of your receipt. If you have purchased your Green Kids items from a retailer, please contact them directly first.  Green Kids will not accept returns if a customer wishes to take advantage of a sale or discount offer after the original purchase date.  Refunds will be paid via the same method as purchase i.e. if you purchased via credit card, then any refund will be to your credit card.

Unfortunately, we cannot offer credit, exchanges or refunds on products which are not in a condition to be resold, have been washed, contains smell of essential oils/perfume, smoke, etc., have been soiled or the packaging is damaged.

Layby

Green Kids offer a 8 week layby service. Our lay-by terms are as follows:

  • Minimum of $100 order for lay-bys.
  • 20% deposit is required to secure your order.
  • All payments must be received within 8 weeks of placing your order.
  • Payments can be made by direct deposit only.
  • Payments are required to be made regularly on a fortnightly basis.
  • Your order will be posted when the final payment has been received.
  • Orders not paid for in full by the due date will be cancelled.
  • Please note: cancellation of a lay-by order either by the customer or due to non-payment will incur a processing fee of $25.00, which is subject to change without notice.
