Newborn to 3 months
| Place the insert in to the nappy, and only pull it as far as the bottom of the Aplix, about 5cm from the end of the nappy. Lay the nappy out flat on the change table. |
 |
Bring the nappy up to your baby’s tummy, then fold down the front piece of Aplix to shorten the rise. |
 |
Pull one tab firmly over and fasten it to the suede cloth, ensuring that the nappy is snug around your baby's leg. |
 |
Pull the other tab over and fasten to the front piece of Aplix, ensuring the nappy is snug around your baby's other leg. |

This picture shows a Green Kids nappy folded to fit a new born (left) and a slightly older baby (right). The nappies will fit even larger than this, as you just continue to adjust where the tabs sit as their waist grows.
3 months to toilet training (approx 2.5 years or 15kg)
- Fold up the insert and place into the pocket of the nappy.
- Ensure it is pulled through all the way to the end of the nappy, and is lying flat inside.
- Lay the nappy flat on the change table or mat, with the outside of the nappy facing downwards and the opening of the nappy away from you.
- Lay your baby onto the nappy about half way up the nappy.
- Pull the front of the nappy up and around your baby's tummy and hold. Make sure the nappy comes up to the narrowest part of your baby's waist.
- Pull the side tabs firmly around to the front and attach to the front Aplix.
- Ensure you stretch the tabs quite firmly to ensure the nappy is a snug fit.
What to do with the nappy when out and about
| Remove the nappy from your baby. |

|
| Roll the end of the nappy up towards the top of the nappy. |

|
| Continue to roll the nappy until it reaches the end. |

|
| Bring one Aplix tab about half way over the nappy and hold here. |

|
| Bring the other tab over and fasten to the extra piece of Aplix. Place the nappy into a ‘wet’ bag ready to take home. |
