How Green Kids nappies work
|
|
Green Kids nappies are known as pocket nappies, which consist of a waterproof outer layer and a soft stay-dry inner layer. There is a pocket opening at the back, into which you place the absorbent insert.
Liquid passes through the stay dry inner layer and is absorbed by the insert/booster inside. The stay dry layer will feel dry even when the nappy is full, which provides superior comfort for your baby. The waterproof outer layer keeps the moisture in, and baby's clothes dry.

Green Kids nappies do not require a separate cover or liner!
Green Kids nappies come in two types:

|
Anytimes come in a range of colours and prints and are suitable for day or night use. The outer later is made from polyester PUL (100% polyester laminated with polyurethane), which is both waterproof and ‘breathable’. The inner layer is made from soft, suede cloth (100% polyester) which keeps your baby’s skin dry!
Please note that Anytimes Prints are limited edition, so get yours before they are gone! |

|
Minkytimes are available in gorgeous colours and prints! Made from an outer layer of buttery soft, waterproof Minky fabric, and an inner layer of stay dry, stain resistant suedecloth. Minkytimes are perfect for use during the day, especially for showing off! They are also fantastic for use at night for even the heaviest wetters. These nappies are a luxurious addition to your nappy stash. |

Why choose Green Kids pocket nappies?
-
They are very fast drying, either on the clothes line or in the dryer on warm
-
You can adjust the absorbency to suit your baby by using different insert/booster combinations
-
Green Kids nappies are fast and easy to put on your baby and fasten just like a disposable, with no fiddly snaps to adjust
-
The entire inner layer of stay-dry suedecloth means your baby never feels wet. Most Green Kids babies never suffer from nappy rash!
-
The single inner layer of suede cloth repels soiling and makes cleaning a breeze - no fiddly layers to clean
-
The removable insert ensures nappies and inserts will always get a thorough wash and dry faster
-
You can use Green Kids nappies as a two-in-one for newborns or light wetting babies - just lay the insert/booster on top of the suede cloth (instead of inserting into the pocket) and only change the insert when your baby wets. This means you can re-use the nappy outer until it feels wet. The only drawback to this method of cloth nappying is that wetness will be held against your baby's skin, which can lead to nappy rash
-
Don't be confused by terminology - inserts, boosters and soakers are all the same thing, though they are often made from different fabrics such as bamboo, cotton and microfibre. However, they are all designed to absorb liquid in cloth nappies. Liners are usually not the same thing, so check the specifications before you buy! Green Kids 100% bamboo flushable liners are designed to collect soiling in cloth nappies for disposal into the toilet, and will suit any brand of cloth nappy |
|
Green Kids nappies fit most babies from birth to toilet training!
Green Kids nappies have a unique design that allows them to fit most babies from birth to toilet training, depending on the build of your baby (approx 2.5 years or 15kg). This means that you should only have to purchase one complete set of nappies for your baby! Many babies will fit the nappies for longer than this, although it will depend on their individual size and weight. Green Kids also offer Newborn and Toddler nappies if you need a smaller or larger nappy to suit your situation.
