Absorbent Inserts
All Green Kids nappies will require an absorbent insert to place inside the nappy. We offer a range of inserts specially designed to fit your Green Kids nappies. These inserts vary in absorbency, drying time and price, so you can choose your inserts based on your situation.
Most babies will need:
Day time: 1 Insert per nappy.
Night time: 2 Inserts per nappy.
A combination of 1 bamboo insert with 1 microfibre insert is perfect for overnight!
If your baby is a heavy wetter and requires more absorbency, you can also add an additional bamboo booster.

Green Kids Hemp Insert
These are made from 6 layers of hemp terry, which is much more absorbent than cotton. Hemp is also 10 times stronger than cotton, and is therefore much more durable. The unique two piece design means they are very fast drying! Green Kids Hemp inserts are slightly less absorbent than Bamboo inserts, but they dry quicker, and have a slightly trimmer fit. Overlocked with pastel variegated thread.

Microfibre Insert
These are made from three layers of fluffy white microfibre and are a great day time insert for a light wetting baby, or if you plan to change regularly (approx every 2-3 hours or more). Also perfect for overnight when combined with a hemp or bamboo insert (place the microfibre insert closest to the stay-dry inner layer and the hemp/bamboo towards the back).

These smaller, 3-layer hemp boosters are designed to fit inside the two layers of a Green Kids Insert if your baby requires extra absorbency. They consist of three layers of thick and thirsty hemp terry. To use with a Green Kids Hemp Insert, simply open the insert and slip the booster inside, between the two layers. Now also available in a pack of 10.

These smaller, 3-layer bamboo fleece boosters are designed to fit inside the two layers of a Green Kids Insert if your baby requires extra absorbency. They consist of three layers of luxuriously soft and absorbent bamboo fleece. To use with a Green Kids Insert, simply open the insert and slip the booster inside, between the two layers. Now also available in a pack of 10. |
